This holiday season, we want to spread a little extra kindness and we need your help. Crescent City Optical in Marrero (5128 Lapalco Blvd) is collecting donations to support local families who are going through hard times.

We’re asking for non‑perishable food items, hygiene supplies (like soap, toothpaste, shampoo), and any other essentials you can spare. These donations will go directly back into our community, helping neighbors who may be struggling to make ends meet. 💧🥫

If you have a few extra items in your pantry or bathroom, please drop them off with us. Your small act of generosity can make a big difference — helping someone feel seen, cared for, and supported.

• Location: Crescent City Optical, Marrero, LA

• Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM (closed 12–2 for lunch)

• What to bring: Canned goods, pasta, rice, granola bars, soap, deodorant, feminine products, toothbrushes, and other hygiene items
